My husband and I live in Washington state. We have two children and two adorable granddaughters.
I have always been a craft person. In the 1970's I took my first tole painting class. Back then we used oil paints and a lot of drying medium. I met a group of wonderful girls and we all became close friends...and we are all still painting together today.
I have taught tole and decorative painting for our community schools, participated in many craft shows and this past December I was asked to paint a mailbox for one of our local hospital fund raisers. I chose one of Renee Mullins designs and, to my delight, I was awarded best of show in that class!
In 1999, my husband and I attended our State Fair and by the time we left, I was the proud owner of a RBI Scroll Saw. This opened a new world for me, soon I was cutting all my own wood and loving it!
With the encouragement of my family and friends...and with my love for painting, I am now headed in a new direction. I have started Pumpkin Patch Designs and would like to share it with you. I hope that you'll enjoy painting my projects as much as I enjoyed creating them.
I want to thank Mary Zinter for all her hard work designing Pumpkin Patch Designs website.
